The art form has maintained its presence as a means of expression and today, hooked rugs are on display in galleries and museums worldwide. Jane Kearns is an artist from Florida who began her rug-hooking career in 1967. She is known for her mastery of several techniques, including hand dying recycled wool to add texture and dimension to her creations.
