Ruth Obolensky Ruth Obolensky was born in Queensland, Australia where she studied to be an elementary school teacher. Ruth attended the Glassel School of Art and later studied interior design at Houston University. She has been a member of a number of professional craft organizations including the Weaver’s Guild and Fiber Artists Group in Houston, the Bead Society in Austin, and the Button Society in Asheville. Ruth now lives in Western North Carolina where she uses buttons from a collection that spans several decades to create unique, playful jewelry. |
