Sahlia Jewelry Design Growing up exploring the beaches and forests of the Oregon Coast, Sahlia discovered her love for nature and creation at a very young age. Her artistic talent was apparent early on and is something she's been exploring through countless mediums ever since. Sahlia attended the University of Oregon, where she had the opportunity to experiment with many forms of art ranging from graphic design and photography to large-scale metal sculpture and mixed media installations. After graduating with degrees in both fine art and business marketing, she was hired as a product designer for a leather accessories company. It was there that Sahlia developed her passion for designing art to adorn the body, and realized that she had something more to offer the fashion industry. All materials are purchased locally, reused and recycled whenever possible, always form environmentally and socially responsible sources. Each piece in Sahlia's collection is entirely handmade in her Oregon studio. |
