We look forward to this event every year: the little Valentine tradition we just LOVE! This year’s show features an impressive array of woodblock prints, paintings, pottery & wood carvings from 12 of American Folk’s artists: Doug Frati, Ellen Langford, Carl Block, Liz Sullivan, Cornbread, Michael Gates, Karl Mullen, Wayne Hewell, Lonnie & Twyla Money, Kent Ambler & Ivy Billiot.
The show opens in the gallery on Friday, February 3 at 11AM and we will host an opening reception here in the gallery from 5-8PM. Guests to this free event can purchase locally created flowers bouquets and commission an on-demand poem from Asheville’s own typewriter poet, Eddie Cabbage! Light refreshments to be provided by the gallery. The perfect pre-Valentine’s Day event for all you sweeties out there! Join us if you can…
