Crystal King Crystal King is a young traditional folk potter who was born amidst the rich clay heritage of Seagrove, NC. Since her parents are both potters, Crystal has had her hands in the mud since she was a toddler. She is best known for her hand-built figurative pieces, which touch on a variety of themes, from biblical stories, to political statements, to animals rooted in the folk tradition. Collectors across the country recognize this 24 year old for her unique style and for carrying on a handed-down folk pottery tradition. |
