It's said that you teach what you most need to learn. Moni says she paints what she most needs to incorporate into her life. As a wife and as a mother of two daughters, she gets caught up in a whirlwind of activities and loses perspective

"Painting transforms my anxieties into colorful expressions of what I'm aiming for in my life: stillness, authenticity, gratitude and joy. The colors, the simple subjects I choose, all help me transform the day's chaos and uncontrollable moments into fun and whimsical paintings."

One of her favorite 'critiques' came from an admirer who said, "I love how you don't paint in the lines."
